LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — Team Mitch today launched a new statewide ad campaign showcasing the Kentuckians whose jobs and companies have been saved because of Senator Mitch McConnell’s tireless work on behalf of the Commonwealth. While failed liberal politician Amy McGrath ignores their voices, “Rescued” features the stories of Kentuckians who received economic aid from the CARES Act, the biggest economic rescue package in history, which Senator McConnell introduced and led to unanimous passage in the Senate.
“Amy McGrath is incredibly curious about who Senator McConnell’s economic relief package has rescued, and these Kentuckians have the answers — small businesses, their workers, and their families,” McConnell Senate Committee campaign manager Kevin Golden said. “During this time of great uncertainty, Leader McConnell once again delivered for the Commonwealth. His relief package helped rescue millions of Kentuckians who create jobs in their communities and work hard every day to provide for their families. Instead of attempting to deceive Kentuckians about Senator McConnell’s record, McGrath should try talking to the folks who have been able to keep their jobs and their businesses because of Senator McConnell’s steadfast commitment to Kentucky.”
