Amy McGrath is Focused on a Liberal Wish List, Not Helping Kentuckians
Senator Mitch McConnell today announced he is leading the Senate to vote this week on a coronavirus rescue package focused on kids in school, jobs, and health care. Just like the CARES Act, which has made a $12 billion impact across the Commonwealth, this latest rescue package will help suffering Kentucky families, businesses, and frontline heroes.
But Amy McGrath would rather hold this legislation hostage. During a campaign stop today, McGrath announced she favors Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer’s liberal wish list over Senator McConnell’s targeted rescue package. McGrath would rather add $3 trillion to the national debt in order to cut taxes for her liberal, millionaire donors in New York and California and set Kentucky up to receive less in rescue funds than Puerto Rico.
Amy McGrath continues to prioritizes her liberal donors while Mitch McConnell continues delivering for Kentuckians in need.
