On the heels of her party’s latest promise to shut down every coal plant in America, failed liberal politician Amy McGrath is under fire for shamefully exploiting coal miners for her own gain.
Stuffed between the stacks of Hollywood checks in McGrath’s mailbox is a cease-and-desist letter from two Kentucky coal miners who are “personally offended at seeing their images being used in a political attack ad that does not reflect their personal feelings or beliefs.” As the Herald-Leader reports, an attorney for the miners wrote that “it is simply wrong for the McGrath Campaign to use individual miners suffering from black lung disease as political pawns without their permission or consent.”
