Amy McGrath is joining the chorus of far-left Democratic leaders in Washington who believe nothing is better than something when it comes to coronavirus relief.
When asked if she supported Senator McConnell’s rescue package to fund the Paycheck Protection Program, testing, vaccine development, schools, and unemployment benefits as well as to protect people with pre-existing conditions, McGrath said, “No, I think that’s the wrong answer. I think what we need to do is get back to the drawing board.”
McGrath’s ongoing opposition to the Senate’s rescue package doesn’t match what she’s telling Kentuckians about her so-called support for immediate relief.
Here’s some news for Amy McGrath: Going “back to the drawing board” does not equal immediate relief.
She would have proudly stood with Chuck Schumer and her liberal allies in the Senate to deny Kentuckians coronavirus relief. Amy McGrath clearly doesn’t care about Kentucky.
