The CARES Act — the McConnell-led largest economic relief package in history — unlocked $349 billion to help small businesses pay their workers and stay afloat during the ongoing national health crisis. Now, Senator McConnell is leading the way to provide an additional $250 billion of aid for small businesses and their workers in Kentucky and across the United States to ensure they have the help they need during the battle against the coronavirus.
It’s no surprise that instead of putting our nation’s small business first, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Washington radicals are once again playing politics by delaying this much-needed aid.
Job creators are trying to keep the lights on. Workers and families are worried about paying bills. But all Democrats seem to care about is holding up Main Street business relief to see just how much of their left-wing wish list they can jam through.
Does liberal Amy McGrath stand with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer’s shameless attempts to play politics with Americans’ livelihood? Does she support their attempt to withhold critical aid from small businesses?
