Amy McGrath’s Campaign To Deceive Kentucky Returns

Failed liberal politician Amy McGrath’s campaign to deceive Kentucky returns tonight as she prepares to stumble through another debate performance.

McGrath will attempt to convince people that she is not the most progressive person in Kentucky. But one look at her record makes clear that McGrath is a far-left, extreme Democrat who is eager to remake Kentucky in her image.

Here’s what Wrong Path McGrath doesn’t want you to know about her extreme liberal views:

Amy McGrath is 100% Pro-Abortion and Supports Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood

“I’m one-hundred percent pro-choice. I align with everything EMILY’s List aligns with.” (Amy McGrath, Bloomberg, 10/31/2017)

WVLK’s Larry Glover asked McGrath if “there should be any limitations at all on abortion.” McGrath replied, “I don’t think government should be involved in making a decision on a woman’s body.” Glover continued, “So, you think a woman on her way to the hospital to give birth should be able to abort it instead?” McGrath countered, “I don’t think government should be involved in a woman’s right to choose.” (Anderson News, 8/22/2018)

Days after announcing her run for Senate, McGrath attended a fundraiser in an upscale Washington, DC, suburb with a leading cosponsor of Virginia’s infanticide bill, which would allow abortion up until the birth of the child. (Twitter, 7/24/2019)

“I think we should be funding [Planned Parenthood], because it helps women. I believe that a woman has a right to choose and that we need to fund women’s healthcare in this country.” (Amy McGrath, Facebook, 11/6/2017)

Amy McGrath Wants to Impeach President Trump

After weeks of hiding her true support for impeachment, McGrath admitted in a fundraising e-mail that she believed the House “rightly” impeached President Trump. (Courier Journal, 12/19/2019)

“McGrath says she would have voted to convict Trump in Senate” (Associated Press, 2/5/2020)

“McGrath says she would have voted to remove Trump as Senate, McConnell vote to acquit” (Lexington Herald-Leader, 2/5/2020)

“I would have voted to impeach and convict on both counts.” (Amy McGrath, Lexington Herald-Leader, 2/5/2020)

Amy McGrath Calls President Trump’s Border Wall Stupid

“No, I would not build the wall I think it’s a complete waste of money.” (Amy McGrath, Hey Kentucky!, 9/20/2017)

When asked if she supported building a wall on our Southern Border to curb illegal immigration, McGrath replied, “No, I think it’s absolutely stupid.” (WKYT, 5/13/2018)

“I think a wall is stupid. I’ve said that before.” (Georgetown News-Graphic, 10/29/2018)

Amy McGrath Supports Socialist Health Care Policies

“I like single-payer […] I think we now know that single-payer would be the way to go.” (Amy McGrath, NPR, 8/3/2017)

“When McGrath ran for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District seat two years ago, she repeatedly said how she favored a single-payer plan […] In at least four separate interviews reviewed by The Courier Journal during the course of that campaign, McGrath indicated she liked the idea of a government-run health care system…” (Courier Journal, 2/11/2020)

Amy McGrath Compared President Trump’s Election to the Tragedy of 9/11

“And then, of course, the results of the election, we have a new Commander-in-Chief. And that morning I woke up like somebody had sucker punched me…The only feeling I can describe that’s any close to it was the feeling I had after 9/11.” (Amy McGrath, Indivisible Bourbon County11/20/2017)
